While Young Statues spent most of 2012 on the road in both North America and the UK, the band has never been comfortable with spending too much time idle. Between tours and rehearsals, they found time to record a collection of songs by some of their favorite artists and influences. The Covers 7" is a diverse bunch of songs; from New Order’s 1983 classic Age of Consent to The Magnetic Fields’ quirky California Girls, the Americana folk of Ryan Adams’ Ashes & Fire and EP Opener, Billy Braggs A New England as a duet with Brianna Collins of Tigers Jaw.
