FeetFirstProductions were nice enough to post full sets of the show the other night at Embassy Vinyl in Scranton, PA. Check out all the videos here (Brave Bird and Halfling also played) or check out Pity Sex’s new song “Drown Me Out” below.
ALANIX MORRISSEY: how was your weekend?
WICCA PHA$E $PRING$ ETERNAL: ravey. i released my bite my ear///magentagram 7″ through BLOOD$ELL$ at princess house in philadelphia and the bog in scranton. i have a lot of friends in different circles and was thrilled some of them met, and a lot of qts dressed up like qt-ultras <333
X: what did you wear?
WP$E: on friday i wore a loose, brown tanktop with levi 510′s, a pair of jordans from nikki teen, a mishka hat gifted from MASCARA and freedlove sunglasses. on saturday i wore a white t-shirt i changed into the night before when NICK X reminded me that some bars don’t allow tanks…before we went to karaoke. the rest of the outfit was the same, but i wore my own nikes.
X: what song did you sing?
WP$E: pet semetary.
X: what did you buy with yr show money?
WP$E: my own jordans and a camo north face. right now i’m watching live pet sematary videos though…i just switched to the second clams casino instrumental tape.
X: do you want to work with him?
WP$E: yes. i probably never will though so i’m going to release a short mixtape using my favorite beats of his…that’s after the BLOOD$ELL$ mixtape by JFK (PHA$E CAP), a secret short second one, and around the same time as my tape with THE MOON. i’ll take you to the fall.
X: and you shot a video?
WP$E: well, NICK X and the BLOOD$ELL$ squad did. the dark princess was a dream and ppl will love her in it. i was in death-freak mode. the darkest prince.
X: are you still listening to clams?
WP$E: no. there’s a lakutis///steel tipped dove song floating around tumblr that i didn’t think was released yet…so good…he’ll tell ya what’s real.
X: anything else?
WP$E: to the internet, i look in you now and will wish i hadn’t tmrw morning…someone just gave my blog a “5″ rating…

i’m so tired of waiting to grow up. someday it will happen and i’ll be the only person who can make me feel bad or good about anything i do.
i’ll talk to you tomorrow. i’m getting pretty tired.
i’ll talk to you tomorrow. i’m getting pretty tired.
for the past ummmm, three months maybe, i’ve been working on launching this phase…and we’re so close…
there are four poster designs. each poster is hand-ripped and screened in CMYK. i’m not going to tell you what the posters are, but one is a pill in space and the other is me. i look like a dark prince because i am the darkest prince. i’m actually wearing what i wore for that shoot right now. handsome. four designs. available 06.15.12 in philadelphia.
the records took the rest of the time, and we’re almost done. i can’t tell you everything about them except that there will be three variant covers, lots of ribbon, and they look like candy. photobooth records was going to put it out, but it is now the first release from BLOODSELLS. pre-orders go up this week. so much work went into these and i feel bad for making so many of my friends slave with nick and me to make these, but…they’re nice. tonight will be our last night working on those, and i think all we have to do is put the records in the jackets and tie them…pictures soon.
this weekend we’re shooting the BITE MY EAR video. lights.
then next week, i’ll finish up the BL00D$3LL$ mixtape and yr letters. i have no idea how many i’ve written so far…but they’re all in notebooks, and aside from the few that need to be written i think i only need to address the envelopes. so progress, right?
the release parties are more of a release of the energy that i’ve stored up over the past few months than the release of a record. normally i have a crush on every girl i see and can talk about each one for hours, but that hasn’t happened recently. like, at all. i don’t even think i know any girls anymore…
and then the new tigers jaw record. we’re really bad planners and just kind of go with things, but i think we all know that we need to record soon, so we’re going to do that. that will sound good too, i think. ummmm, i know.

kitty pryde started following me on tumblr since my last post here <3
JUST SNORTED A PILL///FEELING GOOD///LOL
my favorite songs are soaked in personality and are all about the person behind the song, and that’s exactly what “okay cupid” is. i couldn’t make that track because i’m not kitty. that video is all her, probably acting normal (i have no idea, really…), singing like she probably talks, completely comfortable with playing for the camera, and that’s what makes it really work. and the song is perfect. like, perfect.
i’ve always gotten down with this teen vogue style, because you know these girls are on top of the youth game///total trend-definers, or at least ahead trends enough that they could take it back to high school and totally own it as their own. but sometimes i have a hard time identifying with it because it’s so far removed from me, you know? i don’t know anything about bay area life, so i could bump kreayshawn and v-nasty and kind of get it because i’m kind of young and like 808 sounds too, but because they rep the bay area so hard i can’t completely dive in without it being fake. again, knowing nothing about kitty pryde, i can at least get down with her yeastie girlz shirt and lisa frank laptop stickers, and making the sweetest flirt track seems within the realm of what i’m doing with wicca phase.
i also kind of get annoyed when people attach that “(something) of the minute” label, too, because i’ve always thought songs like this were super important! videos like this make people megastars, but with kitty you get the impression that she could be someone you know (but like, one of the cooler people you know). she made the video happen, owned it, and recorded lines that people definitely wish they could actually say to someone they like. it’s tangible now, and if “okay cupid” isn’t encouraging other girls to get their friends to help them make a cool video, um…it’s at least giving kids a song to dance on each other to at the prom.
and i ? danny brown too, kitty.
the first time i kissed a girl was on a bus at a church camp my mom was chaperoning. i was 13, and an older girl (17, let’s hope) dared the girl to kiss me, so we made out on the bus. then the older girl dared me to kiss her, so i kissed her too. it’s cool because both girls were really cute, but i’m probably fucked forever, right?
when i first heard “girl afraid,” i knew morrissey wrote it for me, about me. it’s the saddest song///that desire to do something, to make a move, and you want to so bad but…something’s there? i had no idea how to try and kiss my girlfriend for the first time because it came so easy before. and so that wall is there that let’s you think that doing nothing is better than trying and being rejected, that a girl turning you down is so much worse than not doing anything…
and it’s not, at all. worst feeling. and you go home, and you’re stuck with that anticipation that was there before you hung out that day, and it takes a different form…and it hates you for not trying anything, so you convince yrself that the timing wasn’t perfect, even when it was, even when yr completely alone, even when yr openly hard-flirting, even when yr in the same bed…and the attraction is rarely so obvious that the other person makes the move first, right? and then when that other person does make the first move, you suddenly like them less…
and “girl afraid” sounds like a high school party scene, not something a 23-year-old should be living like, every time.
and when you actually like the other person, you really can’t stop thinking about it…
my top 5 smiths songs

2. i know it’s over///the queen is dead
3. well i wonder///meat is murder
