Starting today, Title Fight will be playing a short string of dates in Japan with NYC legends H20! The tour is in support Title Fight’s recent Japanese release of The Last Thing You Forget CD on Alliance Trax records. Check the dates below.
Although there’s been some speculation for a while, we at RFC are happy to welcome the UK’s Basement to our label. Basement have spent the last year playing shows overseas with Shook Ones, Title Fight, and Blacklisted, as well as releasing their debut 7″ “Songs About the Weather” on City of Gold Records, which will soon be released by Lost Tape Collective in the USA. The band plans on releasing a brand new full-length release on Run For Cover in 2011.
For now, download the new recording from Basement, titled “Two Songs” over at Bandcamp which will also be available from City of Gold Records as a limited cassette tape in the very near future.

In celebration of Fireworks’ first every headlining tour, we will be teaming up to do Run For Cover’s first contest ever. Read the rules below, and make sure to check out Fireworks, Transit, Man Overboard and The Swellers on the All I Have to Offer is this Tour” Tour.
1. Print out the attached pdf file. Cut the mask out on the directed line.
2. Put string through the holes, or hold it over your face.
3. Take a picture wearing the mask doing something weird/awesome, or
somewhere weird/awesome. (it doesn’t have to be FIREWORKS affiliated.) The possibilities
are endless. Get creative, have fun, and get in to some trouble.
4. Send your picture along with your name, address and shirt size to wearefireworks@gmail.com and we will
pick whichever we think is the most creative/fun/weird etc. Basically shock and awe us.
5. Tweet your picture at us, Facebook it at us, whatever you want to do so the world can see it.
The Prize: A Run For Cover Records care package containing records, shirts, and maybe even a Fireworks test press. This could include stuff from all RFC bands though. Not just Fireworks.

You can now purchase Transit’s new full length “Keep This to Yourself” from Bandcamp for $8, or however much more you’d like to pay. As many of you know their record release is tonight in Wakefield, MA. We only have VERY limited number of “Keep This to Yourself” CDs available tonight at the show, as our main shipment that was guaranteed to arrive today by Noon got held up in Connecticut and rescheduled to tomorrow for no real reason. We have been on the phone all day with UPS, our CD manufacturer, etc and all we were told is that the shipment couldn’t be interrupted to be picked up in any way until there is a delivery attempt, and would have to be delivered tomorrow, even though we knew where it was in Connecticut and had someone ready to pick it up. The CDs are actually in Massachusetts right now, but no amount of phone calls will get UPS to let us pick them up. Transit just bought a very expensive new van yesterday and were really relying on having a bunch of copies available at the show tonight. To help send Transit off with a little cash, Run For Cover is making Keep This To Yourself available today on Bandcamp, with all of the money going directly to Transit. Hey guys, here’s a quick update where we are at with the delayed vinyl.
Hostage Calm LPs - The 12″ covers were printed one sided instead of 2 sided, and had to be redone. We are told they will be done and shipping to us this week.
Tigers Jaw - Self Titled on all colors of vinyl is in and shipping. Almost 200 of these have already been sent out. White vinyl just came today so please be patient. The Tigers Jaw Acoustic Series #2 7″ is also shipping along with the Self Titled CD and CD packages.
Man Overboard - Real Talk LPs will be in stock and shipping this Friday, August 6th. We hope to have all of them sent out by Tuesday. CD’s and CD packages have all been sent out.
Again we apologize for the slight delay, but thankfully it wasn’t too bad. Releasing 4 records at one time was an interesting experience.
